Aeroponic methods grow plants faster than any other conventional means. In a 1988 comparative test conducted by researchers at the University of California at Davis to show the effective growth rate of aeroponic equipment, the rate of increased root growth from an aeroponic method was as much as 50% faster. The basis of the aeroponic method is to saturate the nutrient solution with oxygen by breaking up the water into small particles (fogging or misting) by keep high levels of oxygen in the water by constantly circulating the water. The growing environment of the aeroponic system is comparable to a misty tropical rain forest setting with plenty of oxygen and moisture. Adding sufficient light and controling temperature, and nutrients, ,growing plants anywhere is now possible. Much less labor and maintenance brings the joy of growing to virtually everyone with an environment capable of sustaining human life. No soil necessary.

Our latest outdoor comparative test grew pepper plants over five feet tall with plenty of delicious peppers .Basils, tomatoes, cilantro, parsley, bok choys, misunas lettuces and much have been grown and can be grown. New plants are being grown for pleasure and hobby all the time.

Aquamist units include other innovations to make them useful in outdoor and indoor environments. Many operating cost reducing features have been designed into the units.The magnetic drive pumps ( all units are equiped with them) operate at half the electrical comsumption of standard pumps and are guaranteed for one year of non stop service.All of our orginal test unit pumps are still operationing after five and a half years of continious service. Our unique mist aerators have also worked without clogging or problem with regular maintained service. Other features added since our initial units include a self draining feature and an adjustible mist control and an easy to replenish water method. Our cutting and seedling hoods keep moisture around the plant for faster and successful rooting. We.ve recently added new lighting to our units for producing sunshine type light for growing plants .
